A story about friendship, love, and the second breath of life

“Orange Punch” – is a play about women who, after fifty, learn again to be themselves, let go of the past, and find joy in the present. Three friends who once studied together at a medical college meet many years later to honor the memory of the fourth – paramedic who died. But the joint journey gradually turns into much more than a meeting to remember: the heroines rethink their own lives, say goodbye to old offenses, and discover a new taste of life, sour-sweet, like orange punch.

This is a story about female friendship, relationships, fear of loneliness, funny incidents, and painful moments that stay with us for years. About youth, reminded by songs of Iryna Bilyk, messages in Latin letters, and memories of the 90-s. About growing up, accepting oneself, and the ability to start over, even when it seems that the most important is already behind.

“Orange Punch”: a play that embraces from the inside

This play is simultaneously funny, poignant, and very warm. Here, you can laugh heartily over familiar life situations, be touched by an unexpected confession, and reflect on your own relationships with loved ones. This is not a story about perfect people, but a story about real women who learn to accept themselves, let go of what no longer brings joy, and appreciate those who stay close.

The production, depending on the date, involves different casts with well-known Ukrainian actresses: Vitalina Bibliv, Rimma Zyubina, Olesya Zhurakivska, Olena Uzlyuk, Inna Miroshnychenko, Irma Vitovska. The latter, by the way, is the director of the play and also created the scenography and costumes.
